Hi from Windhoek. I went back to Sossusvlei seeing i lost my pix, even better this time, staying at my favorite wild camp again. Went in for the sunrise shots very cold ride in but some awesome views then lots of walks and a snooze at dead vlei when it got hot. Great ride on the sand both ways, sunset pix on the way out, a few oryx about this time and on the dunes. Over a few minor roads past Neukluft park and mountains, nice ride even had water in one of the drifts a bit of a surprise, nice to cool you down.

Around the corner i came across a troupe of boons never expected to see them, they clear the fences pretty good, some big guys in that lot as well. Then to Spreetshoogte pass a real steep one down to 1st and 2nd gear the gradient was 1 in 4 to 1 in 6 then a wild camp near Nauchas about 5 degrees overnight, some fresh sultanas left overnight so something cruised past last night, didn't hear anything except for the jackals.

It got a lot greener near Windhoek and lots more trees, big shock was to see tar again, then i hit the big smoke, the bush is much better. Found a broken exhaust bracket at the back so get the chopper out Mark and get the boys up here. Fix it tomorrow with a stronger piece and time to get thermals for the cold nights.
